About
Die Band TYREHEAD besteht aus Dänu Meister (Vocals/Guitars), Päscu Meister (Bass) und Andy Uetz (Drums) und wurde 2005 gegründet. Was damals als pure Freude am Musikmachen begann, trägt nun mit der Veröffentlichung ihres Erstlingswerkes „Through The Mass“ ihre Früchte. Es zeigt den Sound der Band und beschreibt auf seine Weise -beinahe autobiografisch- den Tyrehead’schen Werdegang. Musikalisch bewegt sich das gute Stück in den verschiedensten Sparten des Rockgenres. Das ganze Album wurde komplett in Eigenregie aufgenommen und im heimeigenen Studio produziert und gemastert. Das Hauptanliegen der Band, sich keinen zeitlichen Druck aufzuerlegen, konnte damit natürlich erfüllt werden. Weiter hatten sie freie Hand was Komposition, Produktion und Artwork anbelangte. Bei letzterem erhielten sie professionelle Unterstützung von Silvan „El Shquivo“ Banz (Polygraph und Freund der Band), der dem Album noch den optischen Feinschliff verpasste.
Live können die 3 Solothurner auf eine langjährige Konzerterfahrung zurückgreifen und konnten schon einige bekannte Schweizer Bühnen bespielen (vgl. grosse Biografie auf der Band Website www.tyrehead.ch ). Trotz dieser Routine wirkt die Band alles andere als abgestumpft, sondern geht auf der Bühne immer „All-in“ und dreht die Verstärker auf 11, weil it’s one more. ^ ^
